• Négatif: The maid banged on our door, or worse, tried to just let herself in, every day and at varying times of the day (morning, afternoon, it didn't seem to matter - it was like we weren't allow to be in the room). She even did it when we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door. And on our last day, checkout was 12pm, but she began harassing us to leave at 11:20am. Every day when we returned to our room, we found our belongings rearranged, and once, she had even balanced a chair on top of my suitcase! We asked for a double room, but instead got one with two single beds pushed together, which meant whenever we tried to cuddle up to each other, the beds moved apart and I almost fell on the floor several times. The room was tiny and unbearable hot, with no air-conditioning or fan. The breakfast was small and all the croissants/pastries were old, and if you didn't get in quick, you missed out, as they only put our so many for all the guests to fight over. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived, with a recently soiled toilet and black hairs on the floor. The staff shouted loudly to each other constantly. Even right outside our door (particularly when they couldn't get into our room, as we were in there, they would try to the door and when they couldn't open it, complain loudly about us to each other. I mean, it was our room! Why should they need to come in several times a day??!). Even whilst we were having breakfast I heard them, in French, asking each other if we'd gone out yet, or what we were doing. Obviously, they didn't realise I could understand their language. I know hotel staff need to service the rooms once daily, but they don't need to be in it permanently, which seemed to be what they wanted. I run a tourism business with guest cottages, and I realise some guests are difficult, and can exaggerate their complaints or are simply having a bad day and take it out on the establishment. This is not the case here, I couldn't believe the behaviour of these people, and the discomfort of the room and poor quality of the food. I strongly recommend other people stay elsewhere.

• Propreté: 2,5 The bathroom was dirty, and the toilet recently soiled, and not cleaned afterwards.
• Situation: 5 Extremely noisy street, constant loud traffic, police sirens and noisy pub on the corner. Close to metro, however, but in a modern and relatively unnactrive neighbourhood.
• Installations et services: 2,5 The so-called free wireless internet in the rooms was a joke. We had reception for 10 seconds at a time, at most ... and believe me, it was not our laptop at fault, as it worked perfectly in other hotels on the same trip.
• Personnel: Sans évaluation Pushy, unfriendly, noisy, always wanted in our room several times a day at all times of the day.
• Tranquillité: Sans évaluation The staff were terribly noisy, and it is on a very busy, noisy street.
• Chambre: 2,5 Tiny, extremely hot. Had to turn sideways (and I'm skinny, believe me) to get around the bed and past the basin in the bathroom. Two tiny single beds pushed together instead of a double bed. No air-con or fan.
• Relation qualité-prix: 5 We got one of their summer specials, so were lucky. I would have left, I think, had we been paying full price.
