• Tranquilidad: 5 chantier, centre sportif et école bruyants à proximité. la clientèle des mariage est désagréable et a changé l'ambiance. La réservation des sièges à la piscine dés le matin par des clients absents est trés désagréable.

Septiembre/2019 Una persona de England. The other downside was the TV only had one news channel and one not good channel in English. This could be addressed to cater for your English guests. piensa:

• Positivo: It was very relaxing without regulations everywhere and the staff were very nice. Breakfast was good if a bit predictable. Reception spoke very good English and were officiant and relaxed.
• Negativo: . The only thing which was not good at all and was not addressed was the wedding on Saturday night which went on until 4 am and it was very very noisy. We had the last of the row right by the wedding venue and it was room 410. I did have a word with the girl who was on reception the next day but to no avail, and I did have a word with the girl who was on reception the next day but to no avail. Usually when you stay in a hotel the noise of entertainment et cetera has to stop at 12 midnight which I think is very reasonable. Consequently we did not get much sleep at all even with half a sleeping tablet. This can really spoil your holiday.

• Situación: 7,5 You really need a car because there is no public transport we were lucky because my daughter lives close by. We do love Benahavis, But this year with the sterling very low the food in Benahavis looked very expensive. We had a very unfortunate experience in the square when my husband was served a tiny bowl of muscles for €12 which here would have been no more than five euros in a good restaurant in England. I do think the village is getting a bit spoilt because there are far too many bars and restaurants now and not a varied number of shops like it used to be.

• Relación calidad/precio: 7,5 It was good value but I think with the euro situation we needed to be half-board. Again the lunch and evening menu were very expensive.

• Negativo: Was shocked to find that the family room we’d been given had a balcony with a bar missing, meaning that my way 1 year old son almost fell 2 floors when we had the balcony doors open. When I complained at the desk the staff didn’t seem bothered and said they would give us another room - it was almost as if they weren’t alarmed. The room they gave us was smaller, had a faulty toilet, dirty curtains and a very filthy travel cot. There were health and safety issues at the pool too with the baby pool situated beside an open gate straight on to a road and cabling exposed where my son fell over. Again, when I explained this to the staff when checking out he did not seem to care and did not offer an compensation. We have been coming to Benahavis every summer for 5 years, however, this summer we had a bad experience with Gran Hotel and will reconsider returning due to the issues above and the poor customer service.
