A small, intimate family-run hotel set in the picturesque medieval village of Gensac, near to Saint Emilion. The hotel offers peace and tranquillity along with a warm welcome from your hosts Steve and Veronica Parker. The hotel offers great value for money and an excellent base from which to discover this wonderful area. Les Remparts is one of the focal points of the medieval village of Gensac, sitting next to the 11th Century Church of Our Lady. Gensac is a small village with a thriving local community who offer a warm welcome to visitors. The village itself is perched on the edge of the hillside overlooking a peaceful valley. The cobbled streets and old castle walls provide a romantic setting. Sample wines and visit local markets in Libourne, Castillon la Bataille and of course, the well known market at Ste Foy la Grande. All our bedrooms are furnished in keeping with the building and are complete with en suite shower and/or bath. Each room also has a direct-dial telephone and satellite TV with international channels.
