The hotel is a painstakingly restored Masia of Can Trona (a typical Catalan farmhouse) dating back to 1757, situated amidst fantastic countryside surroundings, next to the Garrotxa Volcanic Reserve. Tastefully renovated in 2006, the hotel has a brand new annexe with 26 rooms, gardens, an outdoor swimming pool, a bar, a library, an e-corner, a TV lounge, several meeting rooms and private parking. Just 8 km from Olot, the hotel is located in the Vall d'en Bas. Its countryside setting surrounded by fields, is peaceful and relaxing and within the local area there are many charming little towns with wonderful churches and Renaissance style architecture.
