• Location: 10 Walking distance to just about everything. Step outside and enjoy all the excitement that the Puerta del Sol has to offer.

• Staff: 7.5 The hotel is very busy so there was generally a rushed feeling at the front desk but all the necessities were handled efficiently.
• Quietness: 7.5 Rooms at the back very quiet. Rooms facing on Puerta del Sol a bit noisy though shutters did quite a good job of muting the din.
• Room: 5 Some rooms updated, others not. All were on the small side. Old room had a huge marble bathroom with a tub. “Superior” room had a large walk-in shower.

• Positive: The location, the ambiance and the plushness of the room.
• Negative: The policy of not refilling the coffee and tea evey day of the stay. Never seen a 3 star hotel provide a tea coffee maker and not provide refill. It was simply petty.

• Cleanliness: 5 There were spots in the bathroom floor when we checked in.

• Staff: 2.5 One particular staff in the reception was borderline rude and uncourteous. Rest of them were actually very courteous.
• Quietness: 5 Some sound in the room from outside though on the 4th floor.
• Room: 10 Too good. Perfect.
