• Location: 10 Wonderful position in Barcelona; so easy to get to all immediate points of interest, and close to metro for going further.
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 Only one member of staff on reception is not enough when guests are checking in and out - our wait for keys etc. was much too long. Internet access had to be paid for - I would expect free wi-fi at a hotel of this price.

• Value for money: 7.5 The hotel itself and the room were not cheap for the level of amenties, but it is a great location and a beautiful building. The breakfast was disappointing basic for the price and I would not pay for that another time.

• Positive: Central location,hotel decor, staff, the balcony overlooked Santa Anna, hot water,good shower and all clean, quiet area, plenty of cheap eats 10 paces away at El Mos, good tapas almost next door at Santa Anna rest.
• Negative: Paying dep. for TV remote, pay for safe and safe at floor level, no tea or coffee facilities in room, extra hard beds with extra flat pillows ( got another 2 pillows neutralising issue!)soundproofing needs upgrading ( we had what sounded like an interior decorator working nights next room continuously shifting furniture, breakfast was a let down for charge
