• Positive: Location, level of customer service by hotel staff, hotel amenities, and size of the guest room and bathroom. Too many things to like - can't name just one!
• Negative: The shower curtain. It was difficult to move it on the track, and being only five feet tall (a little moret han 1.5 metres), it was difficult to move it back and forth. Had a couple of minor floods on the floor before I got the hang of it.

• I recommend it especially AGAINST... Budget travelers
• Cleanliness: 10 The guest room and bathroom was spotless, although I noticed that the glasses in the bathroom didn't always look fresh (lipstick smudges, etc. probably just wiped clean, which is pretty common in hotels)
• Location: 10 Excellent location to the old quarter, nice restaurants in the Born, La Boqeria, Las Rambla, and the Placa de Catalunya, where the Hop On/Hop Off bus stops. Grocery store across the street and an ATM right next door. couldn't have asked for a better location for our needs.
• Common facilities and services: 10 The solarium was a great place to enjoy the Barcelona skyline, and the afternoon refreshments (beverages, pastries, and fruit) were quite welcome.
• Staff: 10 Extremely professional and cordial. Helpful with suggestions for restaurants and directions. A pleasure to interact with.
• Quietness: 10 Our room (307) was extremely quiet, as it backed onto a courtyard. No street noise, but still plenty of natural light in the room. We enjoyed the Las Rambla location without the noise.
• Room: 10 Quite large by European standards, as was the bathroom. Enjoyed the extra space, as well as the desk, extra table, chairs, and CD player.
• Value for money: 10 Felt it was very good for the location, room size, and amenities. It's not a budget hotel, but for the accommodations and service provided, felt it was well worth it.
