• Positive: The professional and very kind service of the staff. The loaction of the Hotel. The clean, modern rooms.

• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Did not try the breakfast, but it looked nice. Free internet, super. Minibar is boring, no beer, no peanuts, only water and juice.
• Staff: 10 Extremely friendly and professional staff. Very nice introduction of technical details in the room.
• Quietness: 10 Perfectly quiet and silent air-condition system. Excellent.
• Room: 10 Modern and simple, but nothing missing. Very comfortable and good quality beds.
• Value for money: 7.5 Price is correct and acceptable.

• Positive: I loved everything about this hotel. The service was excellent. The staff were all very friendly, attentive, helpful and professional. The location on La Rambla is ideal, short walk to buses and Metro and can walk to just about anywhere from this point as well. Beautifully appointed rooms and very comfortable with everything you need. I loved the nice size bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and bath salts after a long day of walking. I slept very well and felt comfortable here. I will certainly return here on my next trip to Barcelona. And priced very well.

• Positive: The linens were high quality an the adjustable bed was a nice feature. The decor of the hotel was pleasant and the location was very convenient.
• Negative: No view of any kind. The room was good for sleeping but there was absolutely no view. Windows opened to a very narrow vent well. No natural light of any kind. Pretty depressing. Each item was for an additional charge. The fee structure was really price gouging. The television in the room for night, but given the lack of a view or natural light of any kind, all entertainment services should have been included. The lack of view should be disclosed ahead of time. I am sure I could have changed rooms for twice the price.

• Cleanliness: 10 Very clean.
• Location: 10 This is a great location with easy access to the subway and all the terrific shopping.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Lounge areas were very nice.
• Staff: 7.5 Most were very courteous and were eager to help. Service was crisp if somewhat hurried. A few of the ones who appeared to be managers were almost rude for no apparent reason other than they could be.
• Quietness: 7.5 The sleeping chamber door was helpful to block most hallway noise. There weren't many people on my floor so the noise wasn't a big issue.
• Room: Not rated Size and shape of the room were good. However, there was no view and no natural light of any kind what so ever. If you are going to book a room here, be specific and be prepared to pay a premium. You will need to book a suite on the front of the hotel. My friends stayed in one and it had a juliet balcony overlooking the Rambla.
• Value for money: 2.5 I expect to have a functioning window that you can see outside to and allows some natural light. This room had neither. It could have been under ground.
