  • Location: 10 The location is just perfect. Close to the beach and city center. El Born is a great area with lots of nice restaurants and shops.
  • Common facilities and services: 7.5 Breakfast was limited.
  • Staff: 10 Staff was very friendly.
  • Quietness: 10 Even though we had a room at a busy street, it was very quiet.
  • Room: 10 Room was good and spacious. Two balconies which was very nice.
  • Value for money: 7.5 I found the room quite expensive but I was late booking accommodation

  • Positive: Position, kindness and "customer oriented attitude" of the personnel.
  • Negative: Breakfast => a bit too "basic" quality for a 4 star hotel; fruit juices in the machine are not tasty, sweet proposal a bit too limited, jam seems coming from a 2 stars hotel. Need of a "real" varied fresh fruit offer.
  • I RECOMMEND it for... Older travelers, Families, Couples, Peace seekers, Business travelers, Travelers with a car

  • Location: 10 Close to Barri Gotic, Barceloneta and Port Vell.
  • Common facilities and services: 5 Breakfast need to be improved (but, as I tried other Gargallo's hotels" I am afraid it is a "company choice").
  • Staff: 10 Very kind and customer oriented

  • Room: 7.5 Room very clean; strange paying extra for the safe (every 4 stars hotel gives for free) and as weel have empty frigobar ihe room.

  • Room: 5 Poor quality toiletries. Tea and coffee would be a nice touch in the room. Also the shower/bath would be difficult to get into if you were not very flexible. Though our room was quiet - which we requested - the view was disappointing as we overlooked an internal courtyard which meant there was not much natural light.
